Bugs - otg not support(source rom has no support of otg mmx310)
     - bluetooth not woking some times

Ps1 - by default storage is swapped for that go to settings/storage/and external storage as default it asks for reboot just reboot

After you have Downloaded the official lollipop update Follow the steps to obtain root and custom recovery in your device.

Download SuperSU.zip and Custom Recovery from

After that keep all files in the root of the sdcard

Now follow these steps:
1. Enter into recovery mod using Mobile Uncle Tools or Power + Volume Up key (after shutdown)
2. Tap on Wipe Menu
3. Select Wipe All data - Preflash
4. Select Factory Reset
5. Select Wipe Cache and Wipe dalvic cache
6. Click Install zip from SD card
7. Click Choose Zip, to browse SD card and choose the update.zip file
8. After update.zip is flashed locate and flash SuperSU.zip
9. Now Reboot the device
 
OK Rooting part is done.. Now to install the Custom Recovery

1) Download and install Mobile Uncle Tool from the PlayStore

2) Then, put the recovery.img file that we downloaded before in your root folder of SD Card(Not in any folder)

5) Now open the Mobile Uncle tool and select recovery update, then choose recovery.img, now it will ask to reboot into recovery mode, select -cancel and again go back and select recovery update and seleck recovery IMG ,it asks reboot to recovery now press OK

Thats all, You have successfully installed custom recovery in your Device..

Official lollipop update for lava x8 [beta]

Lava has released lollipop update like beta stage
    All are working and autofocus improved in camera
   
For 2gb and 1 gb ram varaints also
   But it not rooting and u can't flash custom recovery for flashing roms
     Find  urself in google

Download this file and than rename it to update.zip

Than place it to root of sdcard means not in any folder
Than click on settings/about phone/software update
Click check for update. Phone will automatically detect that update.zip file
   
     For flashing this u have to be on stock and stock recovery
   For that use sp flash tool
